Collins Center gymnasium located on the east side of Triton's main campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove.
Children ranging from fourth-12th grades will gain valuable knowledge from the Triton College softball team, head coach Art Kasak and assistant coaches Sara Somogyi and Jessica Headley.
All fundamentals of the fast-pitch game will be discussed in three separate sessions as follows. Session 1: 10 a.m.-noon (pitching and catching); Session 2: 12:15-2:15 p.m. (hitting); and Session 3: 2:30-4:30 p.m. (infield and outfield).
The cost of the camp is $30 per session or $75 to take part in all three sessions. Reduced rates are also available if five or more attendees come from the same school. A Triton College Softball Camp T-shirt and refreshments are included in the cost.
In addition, the team will be donating $5 for every child that participates in the camp towards breast cancer research.
